Just when you thought it was going to get easier, you have another technical issue to be aware of. Not all dimmer switches and timers are compatable or work with compact fluorescent dimmable bulbs. Hopefully, if you've found this page, you understand that not all compact fluorescent light bulbs are dimmable. The compact fluorescent bulb must say that it is dimmable in the product description. It's important to know that if you use a non dimmable cfl, you may not use it on a circuit with a dimmer switch. Even if you don't move the dimmer switch, the fact that it is there will still shorten the life of the bulb. But let's get back to the issue at hand. Philips did a test with their 15W, 20W and 23W CFL Flood dimmable light bulbs with dimmers and timers and put together a list that will work properly. Now, there were additional items that will work but have a minor glitch or problem. For simplicities sake, we've eliminated them from this list. If you would like to know what those are, feel free to contact us for it. Below you will find a list the is Operational with the Philips bulbs we offer.
